2018 In Review

Per usual, I’m getting my end of year list in just under the wire. This has been an extraordinarily strange year, but I wrote some things I’m really proud of – both as a full-time reporter/producer and as a freelancer.

I saw movies I loved, watched TV that changed my perspective, interviewed people I never dreamed I’d have the chance to speak with. I attended my first Television Critics Association tour, ingested a lot of screeners, and continued my pop culture obsession even after moving to Costa Rica.

Even though I was only employed full-time half of the year, I wrote a LOT in 2018. Here are just a few of the pieces I’m proud of:

2018 certainly didn’t go the way I expected it to, but boy, was it a ride. Thousands upon thousands of words written and hours of transcription and research completed and stories taken in and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ve been so lucky to write for a living, and I’m curious to see where my next steps take me.

I’m Los Angeles bound in just a couple weeks, and I’m sure I’ll be writing about a lot of new things and some of the same. It’s been real, 2018.
